This is an episodic Zoroastrian tour; because all its events are related to a religious idea. In fact, this idea is known via its interrelated parts. The fire temple is the first place that we visit to get essential information about the following things.
The advent of Zoroaster (Zoroastrian Prophet), philosophy of the temples, philosophy of the fire, some lessons from the holy fire, and an ancient symbol with more than 4000 background. There, we will find out the answers to such questions: What caused fire as a natural element, to be used as a cultural element by Zoroastrians? How many years the holy Fire is burning? Where was its original source? And so much more.
Generally, after informing about basic Zoroastrianism ideas, we will see a Zoroastrian historical and cultural museum, Marker museum, which lets us become familiar with popular aspects of Zoroastrians such as traditional festivals, Zoroastrian costumes, new Zoroastrian educational features, etc.
The third step of the tour is the Tower of Silence. The only grave tower that you can step inside all over the world. A sight with one of the greatest cultural and economic scuffle background during the 19th century. There, you will hear about a historic leap in Iranian society when an Indian man came to Iran and reformed Zoroastrian society in the 19th century. You will also learn how Zoroastrians keep the dead bodies at a distance in a specific way. Here are many questions about the Zoroastrians ritual: What rules did it have? What did Zoroastrians do with their dead bodies in olden times? And what do they do nowadays?
After passing the Tower of silence, we go back to the city center to have lunch and take a short rest. Then we drive towards two Zoroastrian villages, Cham and Mobarakeh, with a 20 km distance from Yazd. At the end of the tour, we will drive to a Zoroastrian Shrine called Pir-e Naraki, 35 km far from Yazd which is located among some small mount with an attractive view. A Shrine with a mythical narrative background.
